Adelaide Oval joins with iconic SA brands to lower food and drink prices

The Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority (SMA) has joined with some of South Australia’s most iconic brands to lower the price of beer, pies and pasties, and water.

As a result of our continuing negotiations with key suppliers, the Adelaide Oval is pleased to announce that West End Draught beer will be $8.90 (down from $9.20), Balfours pies and pasties $5.50 (down from $5.60) and Mount Franklin bottled water $4.80 (down from $5.00).

These price changes will come into effect from day one of the Third Commonwealth Bank Test between Australia and South Africa, which starts tomorrow, and will continue through the cricket season and the 2017 football season.

CEO Andrew Daniels said the price changes reflected the SMA’s commitment to ensuring as many South Australians as possible could enjoy a day out at the Oval.

“We all want the same thing – we want the Adelaide Oval experience to be as outstanding and accessible as possible while balancing that with our need to run and maintain the Adelaide Oval to the international standard expected by all South Australians,” Mr Daniels said.

“Therefore, as part of our ongoing partnerships with SA Brewing, Coca-Cola Amatil and Balfours, we have been able to lower the price of some of our most popular and iconic food and drink options.”

In addition, fans are still welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages to the ground, and free chilled water stations are located throughout the venue.

Patrons at this year’s Test Match between Australia and South Africa will also be able to enjoy significant new offerings at the “Field of Flavours” located in the Creswell Gardens, which is part of our joint activation with Cricket Australia to further enhance the Adelaide Oval cricket experience.
