Adelaide Oval is proud to work with scosa as our principal charity partner.
scosa, formerly the Spastic Centres of South Australia, is one of the state’s most respected and trusted not for profit organisations. Founded in 1950, scosa provides vital services and support to hundreds of people living with complex physical and intellectual disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome and acquired brain injury.
scosa operates hubs across metropolitan and regional South Australia offering an extensive range of educational, leisure and recreational programs incorporating literacy, numeracy, cooking, computing, the arts and a host of sporting activities including bowling, football, soccer and sailing.
With a focus on maximising potential and independence, scosa is also actively engaged out in the community, with many of their participants spending much of their time at sport and recreation centres, concerts and other facilities to encourage socialisation and inclusion.
Fundraising has underpinned scosa’s capacity to provide services since they were founded and continues to be vital to enable the provision of new programs. For further information please visit scosa.com.au
